Pet Policy Currently Cabin #1 - 3 & 5 are pet friendly. No Pets in Cabin 4.
NEWLY Expanded - Pets now allowed in cabins 2 & 3!
As part of our commitment to provide the highest level of service, River Mountain Resort is pleased to welcome our guests’ pets to the hotel. The daily fee to accommodate a pet at River Mountain is the same as a adding another person (generally no more than $25.00). To make your reservation with a pet, count the pet as 1 child in the reservation system. In order to ensure a harmonious stay for all guests, River Mountain has developed the following guidelines for pet etiquette: - Pets are limited to 40lbs. and must be housebroken and non-aggressive. (Due to insurance limitations no Rottweiler or Pit Bulls regardless of size. One pet per cabin.)
- Pet owners agree to keep their pet on a leash or in a cage while the pet is in any public or common place within the grounds.
- Pet owner agrees to pick up pet remains when deposited on groomed landscaped areas (lawns etc).
- Pet owners agree to not leave their pet unattended at any time while in the cabins or suites.
- Pet owners will remove their pet from their guestroom during housekeeping or maintenance services (if applicable). As cabins are serviced before and after your stay - not during - this is not usually an issue.
- If a pet becomes aggressive to any guest or other person in the resort, pet owners agree to remove their pet promptly from the resort upon request unless a mutually acceptable compromise can be met.
- Pet owners accept full responsibility for any and all liability, claims, losses, costs, lost revenue and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) for personal injury or property damage caused by my pet, and I agree to make reimbursement for such damages on demand.
- Pet owners agree to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend River Mountain Resort, its owners, agents and employees from any and all liability, claims, losses, costs, and expenses, (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or relating to any claim for personal injury or property damage caused by my pet.
- Resort management is the sole determinant as to whether the behavior of a pet is problematic (aggressiveness, excessive noise and/or causing property damage). You agree to respect managements judgment and comply with their directions.
Our guests safety and enjoyment of their stay is our primary concern, if your pet becomes a problem and cannot be relocated as noted above, you may be asked to leave with your pet. Any stays that are shortened due to the behavior of your pet will not be subject to a refund. The Resort employees will be the sole determinant when judging a pets behavior. Pet Owners: KEEP Pets OFF Furniture and Bedding. We strive to provide nice quality furnishings and bedding for people. A dirty dog jumping on nice linens can cause permanent stains - resulting in additional cleaning charges. If stains do not come out, charges will also include repalcement costs of linens/bedspreads.
