President Hoover, Clark Gable, Bing Crosby and many other notable people have enjoyed fishing the McKenzie, what makes them so much better than you?  Other than their fame, body of work and other accomplishments - Nothing!  So you should fish the McKenzie too!  Show them (and everyone else) that you can fish the mighty McKenzie with the best of them.

From the colorful Rainbow trout to the massive steelhead salmon, you get some of the best fishing here.

To make your fishing trip the most enjoyable, you might choose to hire a local expert guide to show you some of their favorite fishing holes.  Many of them take you out on the McKenzie Drift Boat (pictured above), a special boat designed to navigate the waters of the McKenzie.

Local Fishing Guides

Local guides know all the special places the fish like to hide.  A good guide will also know the best bait and techniques to ensure the most action!  Guides can feature both shore based and boat based experiences.  If you haven't tried it before, fishing from the famous flat bottomed McKenzie Driftboat can be a lot of fun!

Fishing Permits can be bought locally at Pete's Automotive just across the bridge from us - a short walk) or at Harbick's Country Store about 5 miles east of us on Hwy 126.
